Could somebody please inform me of why Bristol City Council is unable to sort out some of the city’s most ugly buildings ? Also, I don’t mean stupid excuses of why they can’t sort it out but real answers ! Take for example the most ugly monstrosity of all: Westmoreland House in Stokes Croft ! It always seems that the RDA just gives the same old excuse of ‘the economic slowdown’ or they are outbid by others as was the case with the arena. Why doesn’t the council give planning permission to Comer Homes to get it sorted ?
